Camptopia Limited House Rules and Terms & Conditions

Booking

All guests must pre-book and pre-pay their admission before visiting Camptopia.

Guests must have their booking number (email confirmation).

Camptopia has the right to refuse admission if a guest has not pre-booked or pre-paid their admission.

Arriving

  1. Check-in between 2:30pm-5:30pm on the day of their booking for Stay Experience.


Guests who require late check-in (after 5:30pm) must inform Camptopia Booking Team.

Day Experience guests may arrive between regular business hours 9:30am-5:30pm.

Guests arriving for special events should arrive based on the event opening times.

Upon arriving at Camptopia, guests must present their booking number (email confirmation).

Camptopia reserves the right to restrict access at any time.

Departure

Guest must check-out by 12:30pm. 

If late check out is required, guest must inform Camptopia before their booking date.

Camptopia reserves the right to restrict access at any time.

Camptopia reserves the right to remove guests for inappropriate behaviour.

Parking

Overnight parking must be confirmed prior to the booking date.

Guest must provide car plate number to Camptoipa.

Camptopia is not liable for any damage to your car or any items that are in your car.

Please park carefully.

Space Allocation for Stay Experience

Camptopia will try to accommodate your request for a specific space.  However, we can not guarantee the space requested.

Please stay within the boundaries set for the Standard Space (600 sq ft) and the Premium Space (1,200 sq ft).

Guests must keep their tent, tarps, marquees and other equipment within their allocated space.

Camptopia has the right to ask guests to move their tent or other equipment if they see that tent or other equipment is outside of their allocated space.

During Your Visit

Smoking is not permitted on the grounds at Camptopia. Please only smoke in designated areas located in the parking lot.

Music should be kept to a minimum and should only be played at a level that is not disturbing other guests.

Music and loud conversations must cease by 10PM.

Camptopia security has the right to ask guests to quiet down if they are disturbing other guests.

Camptopia has on-site security from 11PM – 8AM. In case of emergency, please see security at the front office.

Camptopia staff will be on-site between from 9:00am-11:00pm to assist with your Stay Experience.

Please respect the village, the neighbours, and other guests while you enjoy your visit at Camptopia.

Camptopia reserves the right to dismiss any and all guests that are found to be disrespectful to other Guests and Camptopia staff.

Camptopia does not tolerate any abuse to staff members or other guests.

Please do not access the Camptopia Staff areas.  This includes the front office, storage rooms and staff kitchen area.  These are for use by Camptopia Staff members only.

Camptopia reserves the right to dismiss and remove any guest and their party from the Camptopia site if they are found to break any of our House Rules or conduct any unlawful behaviour in Camptopia.

Camptopia will not reimburse guest or anyone in their party for any fees paid, if they are removed from the Camptopia site due to violating Camptopia House Rules or conducting unlawful behaviour.

Camptopia will not be responsible and will not be held liable for any guests’ personal belongings. Please keep all valuables in a safe place when visiting Camptopia.

Health & Safety

Camptopia is not liable and takes no responsibility for accidents caused by inappropriate behaviour by our Guests.

Please enjoy our facilities safely and responsibly.

Camptopia has basic first aid supplies for our Guests who have minor accidents (i.e. scratches and cuts).

Camptopia is a smoke free environment. Please smoke only in designated areas.

Cooking / BBQ / Fire-pit

Please use good judgement when starting your cooking / BBQ / Fire.

Please do not dispose hot charcoal in the rubbish bins.  Use water to put out the fire.

We have fire extinguishers on site in case of an emergency.  Please contact a staff member if you need one.

Please don not dump ashes in the grass or along the side of the fence. Please make sure your ashes are cooled before disposing properly in the rubbish bin.

Please dispose of your food properly. There are bins provided. If you need more bins or bags, please ask Camptopia Staff.

Please wash your dishes and other dirty items in the washing up area.  Do not use the toilet facilities to clean your dishes.

Please use a metal tray If you are burning mosquito repellent coils.

Facilities and Equipment

We expect our Guests to be respectful and take good care, while using the Camptopia facilities (toilets, sinks, bbq kits, etc.), and all other Facilities and Equipment Camptopia provides to our Guests.

  1. Please enjoy our beautiful garden. Do not litter or destroy our beautiful grassland and surrounding nature environment.

Please be careful when using the electrical outlets.

  1. Please don’t waste the water.

    Please help keep our toilets as clean as they were when you arrived. If you do see something unsightly or there are other issues, please contact a member of the staff.


Dogs and Other Pets

Please clean up after your dog.

Camptopia reserves the right to ask that your dog is put on a leash if your dog is bothering other guests or dogs.

Please ensure your dog doesn’t bark too much.

Please don’t allow your dog to dig a hole or damage the grass.

Please ensure your dog doesn’t bite other dogs or guests.

If you see any dog waste, please inform a member of the Camptopia Staff immediately.

Camptopia has 4 turtles on site. Please be mindful of them and ensure that your dog does not harm them or bark at them.

Refunds and Reschedule

Camptopia will provide a 100% credit if a guest cancels their booking 28 days or more before their booking date. Credit to be used within 3 months of cancellation date.

If a guest needs to cancel their booking less than 28 days prior to their booking date, Camptopia will reschedule the guests’ booking up to 3 months, based on the same rate (weekday, weekend, holiday).

If a guest needs to reschedule their booking, a change fee of HK$500 will be charged.

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above or Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, Camtopia will reschedule the guests’ booking up to 3 months, based on the same rate and days of the week paid for. No change fee.

Camptopia will try to accommodate all guests’ change request.  However, future dates are based on the availability.

No cash refunds will be provided for bookings.

CAMPTOPIA AND CAMPTOPIA STAFF WILL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURIES, UNHAPPINESS, ILLNESSES, DEATHS, HEALTH COMPLICATIONS OF ANY SORTS, CAUSED OR INFLICTED BY OTHER GUESTS OR WHILE VISITING CAMPTOPIA. WE EXPECT OUR GUESTS TO BEHAVE APPROPRIATELY AND TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THEIR ACTIONS. PLEASE RESPECT CAMPTOPIA, CAMPTOPIA GUESTS AND CAMPTOPIA STAFF.
